Location data and service coverage

We use approximate ZIP and locality points to help you find service offers near the place where work is needed. These points represent an area. They are not your home, an exact service address, a driving distance, or a guarantee that a provider can take the job.

Use the ZIP for the work address

A PO-box, business-only, military, or other mailing ZIP may have no sufficiently precise geographic point. When that happens, we recognize the mailing ZIP and ask for the ZIP of the physical service address. This does not mean there are no providers in the surrounding city.

Offers keep the provider's actual listed base location. Search matching uses their configured service area. Confirm the exact work address, travel fees, timing, scope and final price with the provider. A request becomes a confirmed job only after the provider agrees.

Our reference sources

Previously reviewed marketplace points and explicitly disclosed ZIP aliases are preserved. Reference ZIP data can change, and a daily source export does not establish when every underlying record was last updated.

Pages and search results

City and service pages use current published offers. Eligibility for search indexing requires validated geography and useful local inventory; a recognized ZIP alone does not create a bookable offer or an indexed page. Search engines and AI platforms independently decide which pages to index, retrieve or cite.
